Aiden has been nominated for achieving a distinction in his Grade 5 drums exam by music teacher Alain Maurel. Alain says that Aiden memorised all the pieces, has shown great concentration and most of all has improved his skills by miles in the last year.
Aiden says that preparing for his Trinity qualification has allowed him to develop his performance skills drastically when free playing or jamming with his band mates. “The skills in the qualifications push you,” he says, “they allow you to achieve a lot more.”
Aiden’s advice to other Trinity students?
“Some exams may seem tough; however if you stay calm and practise well, you'll be just fine.”
