Paris, city of art

A brief description of the cultural heart of the city of lights.

Paris, city of art

Beginning from the very first step in Paris art is already on the Orly Airport walls, displaying giant images of the most important paintings from the different collections of the city's many museums. A place that inspired artists through the time, the city of lights has a soul made of art, and it's not only limited to the museums! From architecture to street art, fascination is everywhere to be seen.

It doesn't take more than walking a few streets to find plenty of art galleries showing works of contemporary artists, music concerts (like the ones that take place every Wednesday and Thursday at the Louvre museum), sculptures in the parks, poetry and a lot of theatres displaying classic and new plays.

If you have the chance to visit Paris, don't miss out Montmartre, Montparnasse and Saint Germain-des-Prés if you want to go to the cultural heart of the city. Make sure to take a close look at every corner; there's a lot of hidden gems!

To finish, I think it's essential to add that every time you step inside a restaurant or a café, there's always good music playing; and suddenly there's a bohemian atmosphere that makes you want to stay in that moment forever.

Paris has a lot to offer but culture and art are what I, on my perspective, find the most precious of it all.
