Practitioners Of My New Art Form

Learning new skills with Practitioners.

I completed my experience with a few different practitioners. The first practitioner I spent time with was my teacher Mrs Every. Two hours were spent with her, where I was taught to use filters, masking and image adjustment tools. During these sessions, I composed the image of the whale and the parrot - though all images used are secondary. For the other sessions, my sister (who studied graphics and is well-versed in photoshop) taught me to use the brushes and blending tools, and layers. We created a portrait of the singer Shawn Mendes, which I'm quite proud of. The main feedback she gave me was that I should utilise more tools on photoshop, rather than sticking to a limited amount. Each session with my sister was also 2 hours long.

I am 17 years old and hope to pursue Video Game Design as a career path. I hope to attend university later this year, and use my place in the game design community to inspire others as much as previous games have inspired me.
