Get reminiscent with Solarrio's 'Started This Yet'

Today I decided to highlight a song a bit on the old side, "Started This Yet", as a way to promote Solarrio and his upcoming releases (singles + debut album).

Solarrio is an artist/producer based out of Berlin. Born in Paris to Russian and Argentinian parents and having lived in France, Germany and the USA, Solarrio tries to incorporate his global influences into his music. After working with numerous german hip-hop artists as KD Supier throughout the 2000s, he rebranded as Solarrio in 2016 to launch his own project, mixing 80’s Synthpop, R&B and funk with electronic beats.

His track  "Started This Yet" is a refreshing blast from the past, capturing the essence of 80's pop with its sing-along melody and nostalgic lyrics. It's no surprise that the track has drawn comparisons to the likes of Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa, who have also taken inspiration from the iconic era of pop music.

Co-written with Pedro Vito and Craig Walker, Solarrio delivers a polished and infectious sound that will transport listeners back to a time when catchy choruses and retro synths ruled the airwaves. The track's message about taking things slow in a relationship is conveyed through lyrics that paint a vivid picture of the era, further adding to the song's appeal.

Solarrio's deep vocals add an extra layer of charm to the track, effortlessly capturing the essence of the era. It's impossible not to get swept up in the rhythm of the song, which will have you singing along and tapping your feet in no time. Overall, "Started This Yet" is a classic piece of retro pop that's well worth a listen, and a testament to Solarrio's talent as a producer and songwriter.
