My art form: Textiles and Sewing

In this blog post, I will be discussing how I made this little crochet doggy, the materials and techniques required to make it, where I got the inspiration to make it from, why I made it and why I love making things like this.

My art form: Textiles and Sewing

This blog post is all about the little crochet chihuahua I made. [There are pictures of it down below] The things you will need to make it are: cream thin wool, polyester stuffing, solid black plastic black eyes, thin white wool, thin blue wool, thin black wool, 2.5 millimetre crochet hook and a thick tapestry needle. The techniques I used to make this were chaining, double crochet, single crochet, increase stitches, decrease stiches, changing colour,  joining stiches and whip stich. I got my inspiration to make this little doggy from my love of chihuahuas  and dogs. I like  making things like this because I love dogs and small animals.
