On Thursday the 3rd of February I went on a school trip to see the play, “the life of pi”. The show included art forms such as puppetry, lighting and moving sets. I especially like how they disguised the actors as animals behind the puppets. All of the puppets were a rustic style whilst still resembling the animals. I attended this event because it displays how to take a 2d piece of artwork and make it manoeuvrable to tell a story. The use of puppets and moving sets showed that art can be brought to life. I liked attending this event because it portrayed colour and imagination through art whilst telling the story.
