The Comic-Con of film is here

I HAD A DREAM (the other day) that one day there would be a place, where film makers from all over the country could join and network. And that day will be February 4th 2016 at the Film Expo South in Southampton.

The Comic-Con of film is here

The UK's first official film exhibition is launching on 4th February, where filmmakers and film lovers will get the chance to delve into the world of the film industry and learn more about upcoming projects and opportunities, build contacts by networking with other filmmakers, see new products, and also raise their industry profiles.

Founded by CEO Gillian Tully, the actress is no stranger to the film industry and has a passion for creating better opportunities for filmmakers to elevate themselves as artists and to learn how the film industry works. Having worked in film, TV and West-End theatre, she believes the event will bridge the gap between indie and industry, and give independent film makers a way to progress in their journey.

The Film Expo will feature an amazing panel of experienced film makers and speakers ranging from writers to production managers for some inspirational advice which will prove to be a great experience.

This is also an amazing opportunity for students who want to learn more about the film industry. It's a great way for them to build contacts and boost experience and motivation. So if you're a student make your way to Southampton on February 4th for a fantastic event.

I will be heading to the Expo to learn more for myself and connect with everyone I meet. Hopefully it'll be you.
