Kickstart Programme - Our Kickstart Programme has now helped over 44 young people find their voice and their place in the arts, media and creative industries! “I gained a lot of confidence and was able to develop my passions in music interviews and storytelling. Voice gave me connections, new skills and people that I can call on in times to come” Voice Magazine - In May, we are relaunching the Voice Contributor Programme! We are bringing on 6 new young people to help them develop their writing skills for three months, including a series of professional led workshops that they will get to take part in. This is such an incredible opportunity for these young writers to develop their skills with experienced editors and writers that started exactly where they are!
Voice Outreach - In the past few weeks, we have launched our newest Voice Outreach programme in 5 areas across the UK designed to help young people explore new arts and cultural organisations in their area and learn the skills needed to become a Young Arts Reviewer. This programme is very much in early stages and we are excited to report back on the impact later in the year!Amplify - Last year we worked with the Arts Council England Bridge Organisations to create the website featuring stories of good practice in youth voice. Over the past few months we have been travelling up and down the country (whilst co-ordinating visits to minimise our environmental impact) interviewing 18 more organisations. They will be launching on the website over the next few months!

How your support is helping Voice

Young people's voice within the arts and creative industries lies at the heart of everything we do.
Our magazine promotes young opinions and our training supports young people to gain skills and take the next step into employment.  We also help arts organisations to embed youth voice in their everyday work.
Your support helps us achieve this.

Please do share our work with your friends and networks.
The more support we have, the more support we can give!

A note from Tom Inniss, Voice Editor

Cat Sercombe

It has been a busy year for Voice, and that's shown in our statistics. Nearly 1,000 new users registered in the last year, and they've have added 1,783 posts to the magazine.

Working with our Kickstart trainees to experiment with content generation, we wrote over 400 news pieces last year, plus over 150 interviews and features. We’ve continued to support new artists by showcasing their work to an audience hungry for online engagement, and we've run consultations with readers to figure out how to further improve our offering.

Thank you for supporting us to work with more young people each year.
