Isobel Green | TrinityTalent 2019

Isobel is celebrated by Trinity for Artistic Achievement in Drama.

Isobel was nominated by her teacher for her achievements in her Drama qualification. They said 'Isobel absolutely excels across all areas. She's competed internationally in musical theatre, as a solo vocalist, as a solo dancer. She's very bright and she really does help out other children as well and support people that she works with. We recently did a Strictly MT competition and she wrote a piece herself and competed in the under 18's acting section and was the youngest in it and she came 2nd. She lives and breathes musical theatre and there isn't a song out there that's been written that Isobel can't sing to you!'

In what ways would you say your Drama qualification has influenced your artistic achievement, creativity, leadership or progress?

Trinity exams have helped me learn about and focus on the meaning behind pieces I had to learn, and has also improved my own performing skills. It has given me confidence in my abilities, and in turn has given me confidence to audition for shows and perform well.

How has participating in a Drama qualification impacted your artistic skills or career development?

Doing Musical Theatre has increased my passion for performing, and heightened my communication skills. It has given me confidence in my own self expression, and makes me feel more comfortable doing what I love.

What's next for you?

Hopefully to progress on to grade 8 musical theatre.

What are your career aims?

I would preferably like to attend an acting school for college, and then go on to attend a drama school for university.

Have you got any advice for other young people working towards a Drama qualification?

Enjoy yourself - doing what you are passionate about is so important, and you should always try to make the most of it.
