Pearse is celebrated in the TrinityTalent | Class of 2018 for Musical Achievement and Progress

TrinityTalent | Pearse J Farren

Pearse has been nominated by music teacher Gillian Caughey for passing his Grade 4 and 5 piano exams, both with distinction, and for showing great heart during challenging times. “Pearse is very talented, musical and hard-working,” says Gillian. He achieved his Grade 4 in June and Grade 5 in December.

“Since completing exams with Trinity,” says Pearse, “I have been exposed to styles of piano playing that I never had before. Due to the vast range of pieces on every Trinity syllabus, I have been stretched to learning new skills while also falling in love with piano.”

Pearse’s advice to other Trinity students?
“Practise, practise, practise. Although it seems like a cliché, you can never be too prepared for an exam... and practice makes perfect!”
