TrinityTalent | Arnav Raut

Arnav has been nominated by music teacher Mrs M E Johnstone for achieving a Distinction in his Grade 7 piano exam and demonstrating leadership. Mrs Johnstone says that Arnav is so dedicated to the enjoyment of music and helping others to participate. He practises whenever there is an opportunity and performs regularly at school with his band Arnav's Amigos!

Arnav says that working towards the grades has helped him learn the skills and techniques needed to play a variety of beautiful pieces: “Playing for the exams helps me to keep my motivation and strive to be a good musician. The hours put into practice improve my concentration and help me to perform confidently at school concerts and music competitions.”

Arnav’s advice to other Trinity students?
“Practise regularly and always look at teaching notes if you have any trouble with the pieces.”
