Free Creative Development Workshop and Performance

About this event

Starts: Saturday 8 July 2017 4:00 PM

Ends: Saturday 8 July 2017 10:00 PM

At: Cockpit Theatre, Gateforth Street

Organised by: Wac Arts

The afternoon will start with a workshop run by industry professional Anthony Lennon. Taking the theme of fables and journeys from the Wac Arts Production, this workshop will explore text, movement, and voice on the stage of the Cockpit Theatre, surrounded by the set for the production. This will be followed by a Q&A Session with Wac Arts Alumni and Tutors (including Anthony Lennon) who will be discussing training, transition into the industry and life as a performer. Lastly, there will be a chance to catch the current Wac Arts Diploma students in their devised show, 'Fables'.

This is a fantastic opportunity to sample a moment in our student's lives and to find out more about the world of Performing Arts and Musical Theatre from those who are in the know.

Don't miss this event if you're interested in training in the performing arts - it will give you a taste of what training is like, as well as the opportunity to ask any burning questions.
