  • Monday-Friday training with collaborative and solo projects, rehearsals and performances    
  • Specialist masterclasses in a host of performance techniques, such as character development, verbatim theatre, text analysis, and self-taping  
  • Work with material from Theatre Workout's West End show partners

  • Certificate of completion

This course was originally planned to take place in London's West End and was designed to enable students to devise a performance to share on the final day.

In light of COVID-19 restrictions, we've re-designed it with a focus on distance learning and creating recorded material.

Times: 10:00-17:00 BST

Ages: 9-21 years

Venues: Your home, global

Fee: £225 per student

Early Bird Offer: Book before 01/07/2020 and pay just £195 per student (inc VAT)

Course requirements:

  • A passion for performing
  • A good Wifi signal
  • A smart phone or digital camera capable of video recording
  • Be able to speak English to at least A2 exam level with Trinity (international students)
  • All classes will be run 10:00-16:00 GMT.

Theatre Workout is the centre for education in London's West End, creating bespoke workshops and courses covering all aspects of theatre and performance for schools, children and young people of all ages.

Since 2006 we have created the officail workshops for 35+ major West End productions including shows like Wicked, the Lion King, Shrek, The Sound of Music, the Wizard of Oz, Chicago (twice), and many more. All our programmes are taught by industry professionls working in the business today. Our workshops are designed to maximise a theatre visit, to enhance the curriculum and help students develop new skills.
