We have an exciting roster of workshops planned for June, with industry professionals leading you through QLab, technical theatre, lighting and sound, theatre marketing and PR, playwriting, dramaturgy and more! Some workshops are free, with others starting from just £8. There are 20 bursary spaces available for Black artists on a first come, first served basis - details of this can be found here.

QLab - Introduction • June 15, 10 AM - 12 PM •  £8
The basics of how to use QLab, the ubiquitous software for sound and video in live performance.

QLab - Video Basics •  June 17, 10 AM - 12 PM  • £8
Using QLab for video and projection, creating video cues, fading in and out, surfaces and screens, and more.

QLab - Intermediate •  June 23, 10 AM - 12 PM •  £8
Using QSC and midi control, script cues, effects, integrated fades, using sound cards, and more.

QLab Trio •  £22
Join us for QLab Introduction, Video Basics, and Intermediate, with £2 discount.

QLab - Tutorial •  June 26, 10 AM - 2 PM •  £50
An in-depth QLab course capped at 6 participants. Participants will be given tasks and one-on-one time with the instructor. Designed for participants with all levels of QLab understanding.

A process to begin a theatre project using music and sound.

How to Publicise Your Theatre Work • June 19, 10 AM - 12 PM • £8
A crash-course in PR for theatre.

Theatre Marketing on a Shoestring • June 24, 2 - 4 PM • £8
A crash-course in theatre marketing for artists.

What is Dramaturgy? • June 22, 10 AM - 12 PM • £8
An interactive workshop exploring the role and toolkit of a dramaturg.

Lighting Programming Basics • June 24, 10 AM - 1 PM • £8
A crash course of using a lighting desk.

How to Write a Short Play • June 16 - July 4 • 6 - 8 PM • £45
A four-part workshop to guide participants through the process of writing a short play, culminating in an invited reading of the work.

Making Work Online, and Making Online Work • June 19 - July 5 • 3-5 PM • £45
A four-part workshop to guide participants through the process of creating digital work for our current moment, culminating in an invited sharing of the work.

Viewpoints for Zoom Lab • Dates TBD • Free
A free theatre lab exploring the use of Viewpoints over Zoom.
