This lively storytelling performance features traditional folktales and legends about plants and animals. Animated with live music and song, hear the magical myths of Raven the Trickster bringing the tide, find out how Wren became King of the Birds, and discover what happens if you ever hear Bluebells actually ‘ringing’ in the woods! Then fire up your own imagination and tell your own ‘Lost Story’ using artwork and clay to create new creature characters, bringing them to life with rhythm, rhyme and word-play. This workshop is part of the Artsreach Creative Summer Programme and is suitable for ages 5+ at Charmouth and 8+ at Gillingham.www.artsreach.co.uk

Artsreach Dorset
Artsreach is a registered charity that brings high quality performances of live theatre, music, dance and family shows to the heart of rural communities across Dorset.
Artsreach is dedicated to providing people in rural areas with the opportunity to choose and promote professional arts events in their local venue.
Our performance programme runs through a network of around 50 volunteer promoting groups and together we organise over 140 high quality professional events every year, usually in village halls, right across rural Dorset.
Not only do our events provide the opportunity to enjoy high quality arts on your doorstep, they are also a great social occasion!
The income generated from audience members purchasing tickets plays a vital role in supporting both Artsreach as a scheme, and the community venues in which events take place, as event box offices are split between both parties.
We are an Artsmark Supporter and Arts Award Partner - do get in touch to find out how we can work together!
