It for Others is the 2014 Turner Prize winning film by filmmaker and artist Duncan Campbell, which explores the colonial commercialisation of African art and the impact of colonialism on African heritage. The film features an array of related artefacts and archival footage, examining the question of how artefacts and artworks are valued, exchanged, collected or displayed.
Screened to celebrate A Place in Time, an exhibition co-curated by YSP at NIROX Sculpture Foundation in the UNESCO Cradle of Humankind, South Africa. The event also coincides with YSP visiting artist Willem Boshoff's – one of South Africa’s foremost artists – time at the Park. Introduced by Helen Pheby, YSP Senior Curator.
The concessionary price is valid for YSP Friends. Please provide your membership number in the requirements box when booking
