After School Class (during term-time): This class is so much fun and very diverse – draw, design and make your own clothes! We have complete beginners to confident sewers working on projects ranging from simple tops to designer inspired clothes.

This class is so much fun and very diverse – draw, design and make your own clothes! We have complete beginners to confident sewers working on projects ranging from simple tops to designer inspired clothes.
Our tutors promote a healthy attitude towards fashion and will discuss your creative ideas to develop your projects together. We also provide extra support so you can learn how to use sewing machines, thread needles and hold scissors safely.
What we do:
- Bronze and Silver Arts Award available (for 11+ year olds) – gain a GCSE equivalent qualification
- Limited to 6 children per tutor
- Fashion shoots, styling and End of Year show opportunities
- Fashion trips available
- An ideal warm up to our 13-18 year old classes. You’ll grow in confidence and skills before naturally progressing to our older sessions.
We develop your skills in:
- Research

- Illustration/drawing
- Pattern cutting
- Garment construction
- Fabric knowledge
- Pinning, measuring and cutting
- Accuracy
- Machine and hand sewing
- Zip and fastening insertion

We teach innovative fashion, design and sewing to children from 6+, teens and adults at our two creative fashion hubs (Brighton & Chelsea), with the aim to promote a healthy attitude towards fashion and individuality.
We offer fun after school and Saturday classes for children and teens of all levels, exciting half term and holiday workshops, fashion trips, luxe fashion workshops for grown ups, and creative birthday parties for children.
We’re also an Arts Award centre! Our tutors are Bronze & Silver Arts Award advisers and teach this nationally recognised GCSE level qualification – ideal for aspiring fashion/textile students who want to create their own brief.
