About this event

Starts: Friday 27 July 2018 6:30 PM

Ends: Friday 10 August 2018 12:00 AM

At: 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA

Organised by: Rich Mix

The S+K Project presents Bring Me In, a networking event uniquely designed to facilitate creative collaborations between people of colour. Take part in activities, watch performances and delve into insightful panel discussions with established industry professionals.  Bring Me In aims to bring together individuals in a physical space to enhance connections, particularly within BAME communities.

The night continues with live music curated by Hidden Gems Live showcasing artists that represent East London and urban music. The acts will range from Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Acoustic, Afrobeats and Spoken Word. With a live band and artists including LEMZI, Odd is Normal and EXCLUSIVE COLLECTIVE, the night will kick off TAKEOVER with a bang, celebrating the creativity, talent and energy of the East End.

Plus! Meet our TAKEOVER Poet in Residence Rachel Cleverly. Throughout the festival, Rachel will be crafting short, written responses to document how arts events in east London are being changed and challenged by the ever-evolving creative scene.
