About this event

Starts: Wednesday 16 November 2022 1:00 PM

Ends: Wednesday 16 November 2022 1:30 PM

At: Instagram Live, @voicemaguk

Michael J. Diamond is a director of branded content and narrative films, and will join us on Instaviews Wednesday 16 November at 13:00.

Michael is joining us to discuss his journey into the film industry and to shine a light on the lack of representation of less-privileged societal groups.

Michael is advocating for more representation for these groups and will share with us his own upbringing and how it didn't stop him from wanting to pursue a career in film.

"I come from a single-parent household in a deprived part of East London and chose to pursue a career in film instead of following my older brothers into the scaffolding industry. I am proud of my background and value the jobs that my family and other working-class peers do, but I had a passion that I wanted to turn into a career, so I went for it."

Come along Wednesday 16 November at 13:00 live on Instagram and hear what Michael has to say.

See you then!
