We spoke to a few students from Herts and Essex High School who've recently completely their Bronze awards about what they did and what they thought of it all.

Which Arts Award levels have you've done?

Explore and Bronze.

What art form(s) did you take part in?

Calligraphy.

What events did you go to?

National Arts Gallery.

Tell us about your arts hero, or artists you worked with, or cultural organisations you visited.

Henry Moore, the sculpture who worked with Bronze.

How did you share your arts skills or lead your own projects?

I shared my skills with my Mum and taught her calligraphy.

What was most valuable to you personally?

My calligraphy part as it was creative.

What did you find inspiring?

The library I visited.

What was challenging?

Learning the different calligraphy letters and styles.

What are you going to do next – and has Arts Award helped you?

I am going to do my Silver Arts Award as this has helped me be more creative.

Who gave you the most help and inspiration?

My Mum helped and inspired me the most.
