Those of us who enjoy spending time in front of screen consuming films and television series probably had a very enjoyable month, given the number of trailers that were released. Many came during either San Diego's Comic-Con or Disney's D23 Expo, but some were just released without the hype and fanfare of a big convention.
What this month has demonstrated, if nothing else, is that Netflix really aren't messing around anymore, with some fantastic scheduling that give light to some significant issues.
Thor: Ragnarok
The latest in the unstoppable Marvel cinematic universe, Thor Ragnarok reunites the norse God with rage-machine Hulk in their fight to stop the end of everything.
To The Bone
Ellen is a young woman with anorexia nervosa who spent the better part of her teenage years being shepherded through various recovery programs, only to find herself several pounds lighter every time. Stronger
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Jeff, Stronger is based on the true story of the Boston marathon bombings, and Jeff's emotional and physical rehabilitation after losing his legs.
The Tick
Based on Ben Edlund's much-loved and exceptionally out there comic-book character, The Tick is an Amazon Prime Video series starring Peter Serafinowicz.
Stranger Things Season 2
Netflix hit Stranger Things is back for its second series, and the citizens of Hawkins are still recovering after the horrors of the demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Although Will was rescued, it doesn't seem like the Upside Down is finished with him yet.
