A Year in Arts Award 2017

Another year has gone by, and whilst to many, it has been a tumultuous one, it has been yet another 12 months of growth & success Arts Award. Here are our highlights of a year of Arts Award.

An Arts Award can help grow your talents, explore the arts, be a creative leader and even get yourself a qualification while you're at it. Whether you're doing your Bronze, Silver or Gold, or have already finished your arts award and are looking to the next steps for your art career, let's take a look at just a few of the highlights from arts award 2017. 

Highlights from Arts Award 2017

In 2017, around 72,000 awesome people completed their Arts Award. That's 46,253 Discovers, 7,450 Explores, 16,064 Bronzes, 1,795 Silvers and 367 Golds. 

Just a few of the Arts Award Achievers from 2017:

DIY Theatre, a leading learning disability theatre company, took Charlotte and Amy through their Silver Arts Award. 

Joshua Lewis-Handley finished his highly detailed Gold Arts Award portfolio wherein he produced the Alderbrook School's 'Spotlight' show all the while finding his feet with photography.

Owen Daughtery finished his Gold Arts Award by joining a course called Creative Technologists ran by the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

Katie Jayne Appleyard not only achieved her Gold Arts Award but went on to become an Arts Award Advisor herself.

Highgate school got involved with'GHOST DANCES', as Steven Brett taught Gold and Silver Arts Awards pupils sections of the famous 'Ghost Dances'

Molly Treves completed her Bronze AND Silver Arts Award with Nucleus Arts Centre. Her projects featured photography, videography, writing AND art. Check out her portfolio here, and perhaps get inspired to start your own ;).
