Learning different crochet stitches

Hi, I recently learned a few different, basic crochet stitches as part of my Silver Arts Award. I would also appreciate any feedback on them

I learned how to do these stitches through multiple YouTube videos as well as some instructions from various websites.

I first learned how to do chain stitch to make a foundation chain. This didn't take me too long, however, at first the loops were all very uneven and twisted. I often found it hard to find where to insert the hook. Next, I learned the single crochet stitch from a video. I somehow managed to lose a few stitches and not realise. At the beginning I was confused about where to insert the hook from the foundation chain and I also forgot about the turning chain.

Then I learned the half double and double crochet stitches. After learning the single crochet stitch, I kept making the mistake of inserting the hook straight away instead of yarning over however after some practice I got more used to it. While learning double stitches I initially found it hard to count the chains to see where I should start which resulted in me watching multiple videos as in some, it was hard to see where they were starting.

Lastly I learned the treble stitch. I wasn't sure at the beginning how many stitches to skip since different places where giving me conflicting information and I ended up skipping 3/4 each time, instead of just a the beginning of the row. I'm not sure how I ended up changing directions. On my second attempt I managed to do much better.

Any feedback or short comments on my stitches would be highly appreciated!
