How are we all holding up?

It’s all getting a little old now, and I can understand if you guys are struggling a bit… I know I am! I thought I’d share with you some of the things I’ve been doing to keep myself occupied incase you’re running out of ideas!

COOKING. This is the perfect time for me to go back to my Italian roots and become a great chef! Well, the greatness is debatable, but it’s so much fun to take this time out to start experimenting more and more with flavours, dishes - I’ve even attempted to make ketchup! I recommend sticking on some soulful tunes and get going, you never know what might happen!

READING. I have promised myself I will get back into reading during this quarantine. It’s happening! I’ve been revisiting some of my old favourites, like The Secret Garden, but also using this time to properly appreciate some apocalyptic sci-fi - have you ever tried any John Wydham novels? They’re so interesting and creepy!

GOING OUTSIDE. Even if it’s just sticking your head out the window for a bit, this is so so important for your mental health. Try to take three deep, intentional breaths of fresh air each day at least. I promise it will work wonders.

PRACTICING GRATITUDE. At the end of each day, write down five things you’re grateful for. It’s a lovely way to end your day and will help you continue to feel positive throughout this weird time. It’s my number one trick which I shared with you all on my Instagram, as part of my collaboration with So Happy In Town. Remember, #itsoktofeelshit!

Take a look at my Instagram here!

Hope that helps you, loves! Remember we will get through this.
