Looking forward, looking back: Happy new year!

 Happy New Year lovelies!

The 1st January is always a special day for me. I like to wake up early (no matter the hangover!) and go on a walk to clear my head. It’s a day of resetting and setting intentions, and I like to treat it as the beginning of my January detox!

This year, I went for a long walk with one of my very good friends. We talked a lot about our hopes and goals for the year, as well as unhealthy and unhelpful behaviours that we aimed to leave behind in the last decade.

A whole new decade! When I think about how I felt at the beginning of last decade versus the end, it’s easy to see how far I have come. I am so, so proud of what I have achieved, be it in the music business or otherwise. I have laughed a lot with friends, worked hard at what I wanted to succeed at, and generally had the best time! Of course, there have been hardships as well; difficult times that are important to acknowledge but not to dwell on. We cannot have the good without the bad, and so it is important to give yourself time to feel sad, grieve, observe your emotions and allow them to run their course instead of wishing them away.

I hope that this next year brings all of you peace and love and laughter and fun and silliness and discovery and success and happiness.

Happy 2020!

Love,

Giulia xoxo
