Welcome to Voice

The future is now.

Welcome to Voice

Hello, welcome and good day!

I am exceptionally excited to have you on our new website, completely redesigned to make our job of bringing you the best in art, culture, politics and technology writing that bit easier.

I've been working on this site for five years now, and you'll probably have seen me around -- writing about Brexit, compiling our weekly news roundup or getting way too excited about a video game. However, I've never formally introduced myself so let me rectify that now.

My name is Tom Inniss and I am the Content Editor for Voice. I have a degree in Politics and a masters in Journalism. My personal interests include video games, computers and technology, all things Batman and a good Netflix binge. I also write on matters of politics and policy.

My role as editor is to shape the direction of this website, crafting it into something for everyone, but also for you.

Voice will seek to deliver you contemporary, thoughtful and provocative pieces. We shall make a clear distinction between fact and fiction, and between news and opinion. We want to leave you informed, but also welcome you to make your opinions known.

We have worked hard to develop a platform that supports you in articulating your own points of view, and we encourage you to share them. We wish to have engaging dialogue with our readers, and that's not likely to happen if everyone has the same point of view!

So I invite you to look around the new site and read all the great pieces we have on offer, and then sign up and contribute your own. The comments are open, and will remain that way so long as everyone remains respectful of the house rules.

Art, culture, politics and technology are all advancing at an exceptional pace, and just like the society they create together, we are constantly changing too. Voice has undergone two major rebuilds and multiple editorial shifts as we find our stride, and just because we are comfortable where we are right now it doesn't mean we will become complacent.

Of course, with this being a new site there may be the occasional bug. If you do ever encounter an issue, or have any other questions, definitely feel free to email.

Finally, if you want to get in touch with me about anything, hit me up on Twitter: @tominniss.
