School of Rock

I went to see School of Rock at the New London Theatre, a musical based on the film by Scot Rudin.

School of Rock

Last year I went to see School of Rock twice! This was mainly because I loved the musical; I was enraptured by it. The children were absolutely incredible, their talent is unbelievable. I found that throughout the show, the level of energy just increased, the songs became more buoyant and dancing became more ecstatic. I don't know if you have ever seen the film or indeed been to the musical but it is about a man, who impersonates his roommate as a substitute teacher at a school, where instead of teaching them normal subjects, he spends his time turning them into a band. Before I give any more away, I suggest that you all go and watch it!

I would definitely recommend this show, as it provides with a night of full on entertainment. You are able to understand the immense talent that these children hard and the difficulty they have to face with attending rehearsals, shows, learning lines, songs and dance, all whilst living their normal lives.

So, if anybody is looking for something till fill up one of their evenings, I suggest you go book yourself a ticket before the show leaves the west end, otherwise you'll be missing out!
