    That Scooby-Doo film was truly, truly awful. I read somewhere that they were originally films aimed at adults, but underwent rewrites. I'd have quite liked a more mature take on 'the gang'

    It's true! And they were done by James Gunn who is the Guardians of the Galaxy director - he said they were meant to be r-rated in fact. There's also a re-remake scheduled for 2020.

    Tom, that Scooby-Doo movie was my childhood! Of course looking back now, it looks incredibly trashy but you didn't have the pleasure of going back and watching the same film over and over again like I did. Yes, I was that kind of child.
