Part D: form and communicate a view on issues of concern that affect your art form sector

What was your issue of concern?

My issue of concern was that web developers aren't creating mobile friendly versions of their sites which leads to lost revenue.

Why was this of concern?

Not being able to use mobile versions of the site hinders users who are using mobile devices and could lead to the user not liking the site.

Who did you work with?

I worked on my own.

What research did you do? (state website references)

I researched on this page: http://mobiledevices.about.com/od/additionalresources/a/Why-It-Is-Necessary-For-You-To-Create-A-Mobile-Website-For-Your-Business.htm

What form of presentation did you offer?

I offered an online blog post.

Who did you show this presentation too?

I offered this presentation to all of my blog's and my Twitter followers (http://fxapi.co.uk/2015/08/25/the-problems-with-not-developing-for-mobile/

What was their response?

Their response was that they also felt very strongly about this because they frequently use their mobile devices when they doesn't have access to their computer.

Did they agree/disagree with you?

Most people seem to have agreed with me, Ben James said

Very relevant comments in such a rapidly evolving area.
You're completely right in saying that not accommodating for mobile platforms leads to loss of revenue – it's the equivalent of discriminating against a large proportion of customers.
Great article!

In response to feedback is there anything you would change about your presentation?

No, there is nothing I would change because the feedback was all positive.
