UNIT 2:Part C & D - 3 Shot Challenge,Young Film Academy Course - Directing (Leadership)

As part of the Young Film Academy course I discussed with my mum a plan to make a short film using 1 wide shot, 1 close-up shot and 1 medium shot. I wanted to make a short film which was a bit creepy, but funny. I used my oldest toy - Gus the Gorilla and we just messed around a bit with it, trying to think up different shot ideas. I directed my mum, which was OK. Sometimes she wanted to speak over me, but we did it together and it worked out well. I have trouble with talking and expressing myself sometimes, but she saw this and helped me to get where I wanted to be and she understood what I wanted to do. I tried my best to give instructions about what I wanted. This may have been different if it was a stranger though.
