UNIT 2: Part A - Writing my Project Plan

Me and my mum have been working together to write a plan for my final project using goasls and steps with deadlines to help me get through it stage by stage.

UNIT 2: Part A - Writing my Project Plan

My main project timeline goals include:

By the end of February 2025 I need to have finished reading and studying The Tempest. I have already watched an online streamed performance of the play as part of my Silver Arts Award – Unit 1. Part C and saw an outdoor performance of The Tempest a couple of years ago.

By the end of February 2025 I need to start writing my shortened version of The Tempest for my one-boy show, with the help of my mum.

By the end of February 2025 I need to have recruited all the actors I need to appear at the end of my final film.

By the middle of March 2025 I need to have filmed or received the films of all the actors appearing in the end of my film.

By the end of March 2025 I need to have written the script for my short film.

By the middle of April 2025 I need to have got all my props and costumes together. I am worried about making myself look like Caliban and will be making a sock-puppet instead, which means I have to be one less character. I will need to have made this by the middle of April too.

By the beginning of May 2025 I need to have got some evaluation/feedback at this stage from maybe my online drama tutor or someone else not involved in the project. I might use the first short film I completed as part of my Film Studies course, to get feedback from people on social media.

By the beginning of May 2025 I need to have filmed my one-boy shortened version of The Tempest to start editing and adding music and sound effects from my chosen editing software from the end of May.

By mid-June 2025 I need to have finished my film and uploaded it to YouTube and my Blog and to promote it on social media for feedback. And review and reflect myself on the final project.

The final project plan will be uploaded to my G-Drive.
