The film captures the revolutionary spirit of Sanura Dance School, where founder Sandy Chuchuca, instructor Kasia Adenitire, and their students challenge traditional gender roles in salsa and bachata. In a world where men lead and women follow, Sanura creates space for everyone to learn both roles, welcoming women and the queer community to reshape the narrative. Through intimate interviews and dynamic dance sequences, this project celebrates diversity and inclusion, sparking a conversation about equity and innovation in Latin dances. The aim is to educate and inspire other dance schools to embrace similar practices, but also anyone interested in trying an innovative and empowering way of dancing.
