When Samuel, one of many young victims of eco-anxiety, hears about the flooding in Venice he decides to take his survival into his own hands. 

MEET THE FILMMAKER

519c31950d8ebba967a2034d4b4c77ea2cbb4697.jpgJen started filmmaking at the Beijing Film Academy, where she wrote, directed, and edited her first short film before returning to the UK to resume her studies at the University of Bristol where she graduated with a degree in Film & TV. She currently crews on film and TV sets whilst writing and directing character driven stories. 

Her films focus on misunderstood or unseen characters and explore societal issues through an off beat and quirky lens. 

Her film "Apocalypse Anytime Now", funded by the Roundhouse and Ex-Animo foundation, won Best National Film at the Making Waves Film Festival. Her latest films "My Grief isn't Grief Enough" and "Discord", winner of the Other Brother Studios film fund, are now in the festival circuit.
