Arts Award on Voice

In this video, i talk about my experience with arts award as a whole. What i did for my leadership and some advice i would give to people who are thinking about doing gold.

Collabor-8 collective are a group of young people aged 15-25 in Nottingham City who meet once a week at Nottingham Contemporary and work on youth programming for the gallery, and plan amazing social events like Affinity Festival.

Lumiere is the UK's largest light festival, featuring light-based art installations across the city for four days. Produced by Artichoke and commissioned for the fourth time by Durham City Council, this year's festival offered a host of different artworks against the beautiful backdrop of Durham City.

My first experience of Arts Award was when I got involved in Express Yourself, a project run by City Arts in Nottingham.

This year, we're running a review writing competition with Shakespeare School's Festival. You can review any SSF performance, just upload it to Voice and add it to the 'Shakespeare School's Festival' Voicebox to enter. We chatted to SSF's Venue Director Iain Jones to find out more about the festival.

The Oska Bright Film Festival started today in Brighton. The festival showcases films from filmmakers and artists with learning disabilities and is run by Carousel, the UK organisation who create opportunities for learning disabled artists.
