Working at Affinity Festival: Part 2
Throughout the week we had been working on making decorations for our area of the festival, the Space. Having spent weeks coming up with design ideas and sourcing materials, now was the time to put it into reality. Ola, myself and Leila had all been part of the same team working on this area.

Working at Affinity Festival: Part 1
The weekend before last a very exciting festival was held at Nottingham Contemporary for 15-25 year olds. Affinity Festival was a huge success, starting on Friday at 12pm and ending Saturday at 12am.

What goes on at? Takeover Day
Takeover Day was set up by Kids in Museums to allow children the chance to experience 'meaningful roles, working alongside staff and volunteers to participate in the life of the museum'. Takeover Day 2015 is happening tomorrow, with arts institutions and platforms across the UK allowing over 5000 kids to get behind the wheel. We caught up with Project Administrator, Mikaela Webb to find out more.

Lumiere Festival
Lumiere is the UK's largest light festival, featuring light-based art installations across the city for four days. Produced by Artichoke and commissioned for the fourth time by Durham City Council, this year's festival offered a host of different artworks against the beautiful backdrop of Durham City.
