Review at Brighton Fringe Festival 2021

CALLING LOCAL ARTS REVIEWERS

Are you aged between 16- 25? Fancy becoming a young journalist and attending events for free? Do you know of the Brighton Fringe but are unsure on how to get involved?

Good news! Brighton Young Reviewer’s Project for Voice is back!

What is it?

A project where you’ll train over 6 sessions to become a young reviewer for Voice!

The sessions will be online (to start with) where you’ll receive training on how to review all things arts and culture. For example film, dance, theatre, comedy, visual art, poetry, music, gigs, political art, and so much more!

This is about YOUR voice- develop your skills in sharing your views about your creative experiences. We will look at a wide range of review types including group reviewing, taking pictures, Vox Pops, Instagram Live/ stories and Tik Tok so if writing isn’t your thing- we’ve got you covered!

Where is it?

Online with Voice and around Brighton!

When is it?

The project will run (mostly online) every other Monday for 12 weeks from 19th April 2021, 7- 8:30pm.

Here’s some key dates

Monday 19th April- online- 7pm- Welcome session with group leader Alice

26th April- Fringe Academy Event- Learning how to review and info on Brighton Fringe (time TBC)

What’s in it for me?

  • Become part of our growing national Voice network
